The Heroes of 9/11
10 years have passed since America was attacked by 2 hijacked planes.
Reluctantly, NYFD rushed inside those monumental burning buildings to save many lives--and most didn't make it out alive.
As you watch this documentary that reveals the fear in our firemen as they responded to the devastation, be sure to APPRECIATE YOUR LIFE!
Live, Laugh and Love--Life.
God Bless Us.

NYC--The Melting Pot Edition

Did you attend the Brazilian Festival this year?
If not, you missed out on girls, girls, and more girls.
And then there was the food. Yummy.
Most time I had no idea what I was eating, but once I saw lines forming for little fried morsels called Acarajes, I hopped right on in there--and boy was it worth it.
The brazilians sure know how to dance, eat and party! (amongst other things, but you ain't heard that from me...)
I was mainly ecstatic with this cute stretchy dress I bought that should only be worn with security around--for safety purposes :/
Thank you Brazil for sharing your good food and good times with us New Yorkers!

"That Had My Name On It!"

I found an amazing solution for those pesky family members who stick their fingers in your pudding. The Fridge Locker also keeps your food spit-free from the co-worker you pissed off.
Good thing they didn't have this in the 80's.
It would have been a wrap for me and my big brother :/

D-M-X!
Yeah D!
This video took me back 14 years ago-- back to when I was a young hip hop head in X's sessions everyday.
I LOVE the aggressive rhyming X, and it was always fun recording parts for 'Its Dark and Hell is Hot' with Dame Grease.
They always bring the best out of each other!
The good ole days.

Goodbye Jonas Bevacqua!
Fashion icon Jonas Bevacqua creator of L-R-G passed away suddenly at 34 years of age. Known for his break into the fashion industry in 1999, he changed the face of urban streetwear.
He was extremely generous to the hip hop community and even sent huge boxes of clothes to me during my Rawkus Record days.
Peep him in Kelis' "Bossy" video where we drank all day and had a ball!
(Check my cameo, doing what I normally do)
He will be greatly missed.

Hump Day Video
Every year this song means more to me.
Cuz Life... something that people take for granted
As time passes, you gon' want something back
But you won't get it cause history is made every second
So you crave every lesson --and save every blessin'
No matter how you view the world yo, you never will get it
The world will be the world through the eyes of whoever is in it
But things ain't gon' always go right
Look at it like, yo this ain't your day, but this your life, and live
Life
